How to get there
Drive F-roads from the south or north; a 4x4 is required. Bus services also run from Reykjavik and the south coast in summer.

Late June to mid-September. The F-roads are closed and the hut is shut outside this period.

The Landmannalaugar hut and campsite are the main options. Book months ahead for summer. Some visitors sleep in Þórsmörk or Hrauneyjar and day-trip in.
